About the Current Prototype

Right now, the prototype is working and there is a first version of the template available for download (see below). I will release a full video tutorial soon.

Facts about the Project:

Recommended age: 11 years and older

Skill level electronics: difficult

Skill level paper crafting: easy

Time needed: 2 hours

Estimated costs per robot: about 10 Euro or Dollar

Note: The current template is still work in progress. A more detailed template is in the making.

Materials Needed

  • the printed template

  • two NPN transistors

  • two light sensors (light-dependend restistor)

  • two solar motors

  • four CR2032 button cells

  • conductive tape

  • three binder clips

  • craft supplies (scissors, hot glue, tape, etc.)
